Secret Baby Items (of bibs & blankies)

When I haven't been working on the Belcarra Cardigan, I have been crocheting baby items for a very special expectant mum.

I'm afraid I cannot tell you what they are until baby arrives, but since I have been in 'baby mode', I thought I would share some of the crocheted baby items I have made in the past.

Autumn Colour



Autumn is my favourite season.
Each year my ornamental pear tree blesses me with the most beautiful colours.
In just 24 hours, fresh leaf fall (above) transforms my garden to a vivid palette of inspiration.
The result is a cosy crocheted colour scheme to warm my winter days.

Big Ambitions to Meet Crochet Targets



As the end of 2012 approaches, it's a good time to stop and reflect on the past year. This year was the first time I had ever deliberated about my crochet goals with a timeline in mind and actually committed them to paper. As if that wasn't enough challenge, I posted my list in online crochet forums so now there was no escape–I had to be accountable in twelve months' time too! Scary? Nervewracking?  Plain silly perhaps?
